Overall I feel that while the Google tools may be useful for those that have a physical location, it's not as helpful for my particular business, Since I operate out of my studio located in my home. I'm not sure that Yelp would be as helpful as well.. maybe in terms of recommending me if I decide to do commissions, but otherwise I think it would not be as helpful. Some of the blogs I commented on expressed an interest in being on Linkedin and TikTock which I agree with the fact that Linkedin would be useful for networking with other artists and seeing what they are up to and doing. I think that TikTock is a good idea for showing finished paintings and in progress work. Dino mentioned meetup and it gave me an idea I hadn't considered before. I could create meetups for teaching art techniques and for artists and enthusiasts to meet and network. The meetups could be a great way to meet art lovers and to promote classes if I decide to have workshops.
