Twitch and TikTok are two platforms that could be beneficial for me as an artist. I know a couple of artists who livestream themselves painting on Twitch, and that could be a good way to show potential clients my process and insight into the work that goes into making a painting.
TikTok is also good because I can make short videos on my artwork, my painting process and progress.
I think that Spotify would also be good if I decided to do an art podcast. Spotify is a place not just for music but you can also create a podcast, which is something I have been considering.
Hey Nicole, I think your business would be great on TikTok. I also agree with Twitch live streaming, although I don't have experience with it, I love watching artists livestream. I love artists on TikTok because viewers love to see a process and it's a place where you can do what you were going to do anyway and at the same time promoting yourself and giving it a personal touch. I would love to watch a livestream that is like the format of "Get ready with me" but instead "Come paint with me" while you tell a story about yourself so viewers can feel connected to you as well.
